Shopping at St Thomas

Is there any good shopping in St Thomas? We enjoyed shopping in St Martin and are curious if there is something comparable. Thanks! This may help us to determine our day with our beach intensive itinerary.

It's about 1 1/2 miles to walk. Open air taxi is $4 one way.

bjarrett7: Actually, the distance depends on where you dock. From Havensight/West Indian Co. it is 1 mile away- easy, flat walk along the waterfront. From Crown Bay, it is about 2 miles. Again, it it a flat walk with side walk, although you aren't walking by the water the whole time. :)

Thanks... We are cruising with HAL and I have no idea where the boat stops. Will have to find out! 😀

The "Dam" boats generally dock at Crown Bay, but there are exceptions. You can check the cruise ship schedule on vinow for your day in port. :)
