DiploTraveler Posted September 8, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 8, 2016 (edited) I'm having a hard time finding travel insurance that will cover us. We are US citizens living overseas. We can't buy local insurance here, because of our temporary resident status. The US-based policies seem to require that travel begin and end in the USA. Are there policies available to expats? klfrodo Posted September 8, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 8, 2016 check out http://www.tripinsurancestore.com on the left side of the page will be an area where you put in trip cost, date of trip, etc. There is also a selection for expat. Click on that and see what options are available to you.
Happy2cruise Posted September 9, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 9, 2016 Another suggestion to contact tripinsurancestore and talk with Steve or one of his reps. They are very knowledgeable and will work with you to get the best coverage for your personal situation or circumstances. Good luck:)
