Actually the gay gathering on Carnival ships is now listed as GLBT or LGBT Gathering. Friends of Dorothy is a quaint term from the 1950s when people had to be closeted and not themselves. Carnival recognizes this change in terminology and I'm pleased they stay current with the times.

OP there is a gay cruisers section here on Cruise Critic with a sub-forum for announcements of cruisers looking for others sailing on a particular cruise. While not actual roll calls you may have some luck there as well as the "all cruisers" roll calls suggested here by others.
