Freedom of the Seas

We will be on the Freedom in a little over two weeks. Does anyone know if the main dining room or another dining area is open when we board ( hoping to get on early)? We are not a fan of the buffet. We have cruised before but not on the Freedom. Thanks in advance for the information.

MDR does not open on boarding day or even on port days for lunch.

Other choices are Care Promenade and Sorrento's.

We always head to the Promenade upon boarding to avoid the crowds in the WJ!!;) We like to get something from the Café or Sorrentos, and take it over to the Bull & Bear Pub to enjoy while drinking a nice cold beer!:p Love watching all of the people strolling through the Promenade looking like wide-eyed children @ Christmas!!:cool:
