Kate45 Posted July 28, 2016 #1 Share Posted July 28, 2016 Going on NCL out of Tampa in January. Already have hotel booked (which provides airport shuttle). Wondering what a taxi will cost to pier from hotel (Country INN and Suites Tampa Airport) and how much is taxi to airport following cruise. Or is there a shuttle to the airport - cost? Thanks. There is a flat rate of $25 for a taxi between the airport and cruise port.
Kate45 Posted July 28, 2016 Author #3 Share Posted July 28, 2016 Is that per person or per taxi? We are a group of 4. Can we all fit in one taxi with all our luggage?

Unless you have a huge amount of luggage, you should be able to fit in a minivan taxi.. Edited July 28, 2016 by clarea

Clarea Posted July 29, 2016 #6 Share Posted July 29, 2016 Do you know where you get the taxis from? ( At the airport and at the cruise port. ) At the cruise port, there is a taxi line right outside the terminal, you will be directed by terminal personnel. At the airport, follow the signs. Capt_BJ Posted July 29, 2016 #7 Share Posted July 29, 2016 (edited) OP note the flat rate is for airport to cruise terminal and does not apply to your hotel to the cruise terminal ... the fare will be close, but not the flat rate. You COULD take the free hotel shuttle back to the airport than get the flat rate but I would not bother. But don't be surprised when your hotel to terminal ride IS on the meter. ** pay shuttles tend to be cost effective when you are a party of one ... close to a 'push' when you are TWO, and cost more when more than 2 . . . this has been my experience with lots of business travel in my day.
