Car rental from LAX to Long beach?

My husband and I, are going to spend a day at Disneyland, before the cruise. I was wondering, if anyone knew a rental company that doesn't charge fee for leaving it at the port?

My wife and I did the same thing a few years ago. We rented the car at LAX and then returned it to Long Beach, LGB, and bought transfers from Carnival. It worked out pretty well and we didn't have to pay a hefty fee for the one way rental.

Thanks for the information. We had planned on going this route. Can you recall the rental car company you used?

No one way fees are dependent on where the cars are needed and capacity. What is free one day could have a huge fee the next.

Might want to do a search using one of those online TAs, maybe the one that likes gnomes.
