Aurora1525 Posted May 30, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 30, 2016 My cruise in September stops in Toulon, France. The selection of excursions for the Toulon stop on Royal Caribbean is woefully inadequate! I was wondering if anyone had been to this port before and if it's similar to the Caribbean in which you can get off the ship and find a number of tour guides looking to load up their vans for the day? Thanks in advance!

Thanks in advance! The answer is NO. Book a tour with one of the many companies that operate in the area (search CC and TA). But no tours available at the dock anywhere in the Med. You may find taxis and you can negotiate being taken to different places, but the final price will be the same as that of a reputable tour company with a guide. anthonyy7 Posted June 6, 2016 #3 Share Posted June 6, 2016 I don't recall squat in Toulon (La Seyne Sur Mer) but we just took the ship shuttle to Aix and spent the day there. See if RCL offers anything like that
