tri rail

Need some info please. Thinking of taking the tri rail from fll airport to the mia airport to meet a friend who's flying in there and then traveling on to our hotel. Probably a silly question but where do you catch the train? Do you take a shuttle to the train station? Thanks for any help.

There is a free shuttle from FLL to the tri rail station. You will see the shuttle buses circle around the terminals, just outside baggage claim. Once at the tri rail station, you can purchase a ticket to the MIA station.

Really easy to use in fact we are using it again in February, I think it cost about $3 per person.

Make sure you have plenty of time. This is not a quick way to travel.
