Southwest Airlines question on day of sailing ?

I have a question... I see that several people (like us) have flights to San Juan on December 31. My question is did you do the flight through the cruise line or by yourself. We did ours individually via Southwest Airlines. Flight leaves Tampa around 8/30 am and arrives San Juan around 12:30.

Question has been readied by dh that if there is bad weather up north we might have a delayed or even cancelled flight. Southwest Airlines, at this time can not tell us where our flight originates i.e. Here in Tampa Fl or up north.

Suggestions..opinions. Thanks

They know where the flight originates. The issue is that it doesn't really matter. Weather delays will cause issues throughout the network no matter what. Add a busy holiday weekend to that scenario and the potential for rebooking may be difficult.

With an 8:30am flight time you're probably not the first flight of the day on that particular plane either. Cross your fingers and hope for the best!
