Running in Tortola

I will be in Tortola on the Disney Magic on April 20. I've never been to Tortola. I am a runner and love running in new places. Can anyone advise whether it's possible to run on the roads near the pier? Do the roads have sidewalks? If not, can I run on the shoulder? I would only need a few miles.

I'm comfortable solo and fairly independent, and I've done this before on other islands. Thanks!

Some roads will have sidewalks, some won't. In some places the shoulder can be very small or nonexistent. Be careful and remember the traffic drives on the left. People on foot that are not used to this tend to look the wrong direction for oncoming traffic.

We always walk from the ship at least down to Pusser's and have no worries doing so. If we can walk, you can run. Come off the dock, through the Marina and turn left. The road is quite level and you should be fine running using your usual reasonable care level.
