Portofino Question

I was able to get on line and make a reservation at Portofino for our upcoming cruise. There was a section called "Culinary request"........ What exactly is that for? Dietary requirements like low fat or low salt? or exotic things like caviar and foie gras?

Hasn't anyone ever used this feature?

I've filled out hte Guest Information card before on line. This part is to let the dining room know you want either a special diet or have a special request (for example, I use only Sweet n Low - not Equal or Splenda). So I can make a special request and they will try to have it for me.
