Couples Massage on Zuiderdam

I am considering a surprise couples massage for my husband and me during our upcoming Mediterranean cruise this June. We've neither of us ever had a massage, much less together, so I thought it would be a real surprise for my husband on this cruise. What do you think? Anything I need to be aware of? I haven't reserved anything yet. I thought perhaps mid cruise would be a good time.

They tend to offer specials on port days since it's much slower for them with most people off on excursions. My husband loves to get a massage every cruise. I've never done the couples one.

Be prepared to say no to sales pitch for extras... creams, nutritional supplements... extras that can add up to a heap of money. So unless these are something you really want to buy be prepared to say no, firmly. Otherwise have a wonderful and memorable relaxing time together. m--

I have only been hit once with a sales pitch and I just said: "no, thanks"

Worst massage experience was when the alarm went iff right above my head for a crew drill that did not even involve spa staff. Argh.
