I just came to ask this question and this was the very first post I saw. I have to limit my direct exposure to the sun' date=' but I still want to enjoy the beach. So there are shaded areas on all of the beaches?[/quote']

Columbus Cove has a lot of tree shaded areas. As the sun moves you can move the chair around a bit to stay in the shade. There are also somewhat costly cabanas that can be rented at Nellies Beach. Some of the beaches also have rentals of those clamshell thingies.

Thanks for the information about Columbus Cove. I will definitely put this information on my list. I considered the cabanas, but I don't think I will be on the beach long enough to justify the cost.
