We are planning a cruise to Alaska in June 2017 and I am looking at private excursions for whale watching. Has anyone used F.I.S.H.E.S or Glacier Wind Charters? Looking for any feedback. Thanks.

We have gone with both companies multiple times and have enjoyed our experiences very much. If you go to TripAdvisor you can read other favorable reviews. Also, if you search this thread for the two companies you will get some reviews as well.

We booked the whale watching with Glacier Wind for this coming September. So far the customer service has been AMAZING! Will report back on the whole experience when we return. :)

I have heard good things about both... We used Misty Bay when we were there in 2012 and they too were great.

We had a great time with Misty Bay Lodge too.

Glacier Wind hands down. Shawn and Teresa are incredible hosts, and Shawn knows where to find the whales. Highly, highly recommend them.

They all talk, I don't think finding whales will be an issue.

Just returned from a trip and used Captain Shawn and Teresa...worth every penny...

Excellent service & experience with Glacier Wind.

We used Glacier Wind last month....they were fantastic. We highly recommend them.
