Greek Islands

I see several complimentary posts here about Azamara. Not a line I had heard about until a friend of mine went on an Athens-Venice cruise last fall.

What is your favorite itinerary for the Greek Islands? I'm thinking Sept/Oct would be a good time to plan for.

Azamara Journey has two attractive Greek Isles cruises October 11 and 21, 2015.

The months of May, June, September and October are great for visiting the Greek islands - I've been on several cruises and land based holidays there in those months which are not as busy as July and August but it depends which Greek island you go to!

We loved our Greek island cruise in June which included a bit of Turkey for good measure - we sailed on the Quest and had a great time and visited my favourite Greek islands which are Santorini, Mykonos and Rhodes. :)

I am booked on the Oct. 11th Journey sailing to Turkey and Greece. This cruise is covering a lot of Greece so really looking forward to it. It will be our 2nd cruise on the Journey.
