P&O and Princess loyalty point recognition

I would always check price of cruise direct with major online TAs by telephone before booking direct with P&O because in my experience they can be cheaper or give more OBC.

We have found the same thing. We saved £500 each by booking our Arcadia Sydney to Hong Kong sector with a TA rather than with P&O direct.

Why would you say that? Been on the site in question and the quote WAS valid. If you don't know, and you don't because I did not say which company it was, why comment?

Because of the number of times people have followed up the paper to find the cheap deal had gone. And it does not matter which company it is.

As it happens I agree fully with majortom, which in itself is odd.

Unless you trust a particular TA then you should always get other quotes.

Personally I do not book anything direct.
