Transferring to the next cruise? Possible?

Hi all,

We have found ourselves in a situation where we are booked (and fully paid) on a RCI cruise that leaves in 25 days but something very important has come up that we need to go to (very important) in the middle of that cruise.

So rather than just cancel the cruise we'd like to transfer to the very next cruise (same ship). So transfer the value of our cruise to the next one.

Is this possible at all?

Don't mind paying some sort of fee.

I'd call Royal and discuss your situation with them. There's a small chance they may let you change without penalty.

Thanks, I don't mind if there's a penalty...as long as it's reasonable that is :)

They allowed me to change once after final payment but the cruise I changed to cost a little more than the original one.

The next cruise is actually cheaper for us...

It never hurts to ask but do not be surprised if the answer is no. I would expect that only a supervisor would have the power to grant an exception.

Let us know how you make out. Whomever you call at RCL will probably need to go thru a Supervisor or more likely the Resolutions Dept.
