Heathrow to Vancouver via Calgary

Flying soon to Vancouver and my Air Canada flight is: Cork -LHR - YYC - YVR.

I presume that Immigration will happen in Calgary, but will I also have to reclaim bags and clear customs in Calgary before connecting flight to Vancouver?

The long walk is a bigger issue for WestJet. Air Canada domestic and US is fairly close.
