What beaches can be accessed by water taxi??

Recommended Posts

We will be in St. Maartens in October and wondering what beaches we can get to using the water taxi? (We have a 1yr old and 6yr old and no car seat, so its walking or water taxi) We were going to do Great Bay but I'm reading about the pollution there and a little worried with 2 small kids.

The water taxi from the cruise terminal only goes to Great Bay. I suppose you could hire a boat to get to some other beach, but that could be very pricey.

You could rent a car - with a baby seat, and then hit any beach.

Or make prior arrangements with a taxi service (such as Wilfred Brooks Taxi Service - google him if you are interested) to take you around and have a car seat. Not sure what it would cost. Brooks is totally reliable - if he is unavailable he may be able to recommend someone else reliable.
