Bush International to Bayport

We are renting a car at Bush International Airport for a few days prior to a cruise out of Bayport. We need ideas on where to drop off the car that would be convenient to Bayport cruise terminal. We got reasonable prices from Enterprise and the drop off fee for Webster was only $13. Taxi to port is $50. Picking up and dropping off at the airport would be a $100 taxi fare to port or NCL transfer at $50 each. My question is, are there any rental agencies closer to Bayport that we should look into? Seabrook? Pasadena?

I know there is an Avis in Texas City, but don't know if that's closer than your other options. Last time I checked, it was open on Sundays,

Texas City is closer to Galveston, not Bayport. TC is further than Webster, so not a good idea.

Unfortunately, the seabrook location does not accept one way rentals. We are dropping off at the webster Enterprise location.

I think that somebody posted that it is a $50 cab ride. Why so much since it is only 11 miles from Webster location to the port.

We are dropping off at Webster also. Only $13 more than dropping off at Bush. Thinking the taxi has to be cheaper from Webster to Bayport than from the airport.
