Technotel with Autoprogreso drinking age

On Autoprogreso's website they list the drinking age for ai at Technotel to be 21. Does anyone know why this is? I was just curious since Mexico's "official" drinking age is 18. I will be 20 when we go on our cruise in January and was just curious about this. It seems strange to set the drinking age at 21 when every other restaurant/bar serves to anyone that looks 18.

That is what I was thinking as well. Just thought it was really strange that they would post that.

Since AutoProgreso is Carnival's official provider, it is probably required that they put up some sort of nonsense like that to keep Big Brother happy. But you're in Mexico so forget about it.

That is only partially correct. In the event you can not see over the bar they will come around the bar to serve you.
