Is Turtle Farm and Royal Palm Doable On Our Own?

We will be in GC in mid October. We have been there before and are interested in doing the Turtle Farm and then a few hours at Royal Palm at 7 Mile Beach.

Is it doable on our own? Don't want to spend a fortune on a ship's tour that takes us places we don't want to go to.
