Post Cruise Hotel in Fort Lauderdale

We are cruising at the end of January, a total of 6 (4 adults and 2 children).

Looking for a hotel in Fort Lauderdale, under $200 a room or under $350 for 1 room.

Things we would like: Queen size beds for the adults, no double size!

Close to a beach, but we can drive as we will have a car.

We are cruising out of Miami, but flying out of Fort Lauderdale and have never stayed there before. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Lots of hotels on the downtown/17th street area of Fort Lauderdale will meet your needs. We like the Embassy Suites, which might meet your needs and budget. Hotels in the FLL area are generally cheaper than comparable properties in Miami or Miami Beach. Plus the area is generally more family friendly.
