Carnival " LIVE"

Has anyone done the concerts on the carnival ships? My cruise in June has a Styx concert. I bought the tickets. The show is at 9:00. Does the line get crazy for seats to the concert? What time should we get in line ? The seats in the theatre are first come, so just wondering. Thanks for any help.

they sell vip tickets - they'll get the first couple rows, along with photos, meet & greet type of thing (which is mostly photos)...

if you're 'general admission' - if you want to be just behind them i'd say go an hour ahead of time... it will totally vary ship to sailing etc.

regardless i'd still go at least 30 mins in advance, even if you don't want the just behind vip seats. lots of people on cruises are used to being in lines and such, and queue accordingly.

do what you want, but plan ahead if you're gaming for prime seats :D

We did the Foreigner cruise last year. Get there at least an hour early if you are picky about your seat.

Thanks for your suggestions! I'll get there early, I do have general admission. I know all the seats are pretty good in the theatre. Can't wait to go!!!
