Canada Place

Head up the escalators, and exit through the main doors onto Cordova Street. Don't follow signs toward Canada Place or Expo/Millennium lines - while in theory you can get there it's more roundabout and involves changing levels up and down again instead of a nice level walk.

As you exit onto Cordova, turn right and walk to Howe, turn right again and walk a block to Canada Place. If you go down the ramp underneath instead of in the ground floor doors it also saves time getting to the luggage drop.

Just want to add.... pay attention to which Canada Line exit.

  • The South exit will have you popping up on Hastings and will be a slightly longer walk.
  • The North Exit will take you to the desired station exit. You want to exit towards the front of the train for the North exit to the station.

  • 4 months later...

Can I get some clarification....is this the Waterfront Station from the Expo Line? or Waterfront Station on Canada Line? From maps it seems they're about 1 1/2 blks from each other...not daunting by any means, but we'll have 2 lg. suitcases and would prefer to not be pulling them any further than necessary. :)

Just by way of information, our hotel is out by the airport so we'll be taking Canada Line to the terminal on sailing day.

The Waterfront station has the Canada Line and Expo Line adjacent to one another. The entrance is the same, the platforms are different.

When you exit the train.... walk towards the front to minimize the walk.

Directions were from the Canada Line platform - which will be the one you're arriving on.

Expo/Millennium platform is closer so following the signs to Canada Place from there makes sense, but the only viable transfer between the lines you could make involves a longer walk than the distance you'd save at Waterfront, plus more risk of getting lost as it is two completely separate stations connected by a mall. Not worth the hassle!
