Is there a breakfast restaurant in New Orleans port?

I was just wondering if there was a restaurant within walking distance of the port in New Orleans? We would like to grab a bite to eat before waiting for our chance to board the Dream for our cruise.

My all-time favorite breakfast restaurant is The Ruby Slipper Cafe :D Multiple locations in New Orleans. The closest to the port is 1 mile away on Magazine St. Well worth the walk if you are able.

It is an easy walk to the streetcar line and anywhere else you want to go. I would suggest either the Camellia Grill near Jackson Square or Oceana across from the Royal Sonesta. It is hard to find bad anything when it comes to food there. Enjoy, but leave yourself plenty of time. Everything in NOLA moves at a nice slow pace and that will apply to lines and service.

You can eat real food as soon as you get on board.
