Are shops in Hamilton open on Sunday?

We are thinking of going over by ferry on Sunday, May 10. I thought I read they could open now but does anyone know for sure? My SIL is going to take aquarium and caves tour which ends there so we were going to meet up with her.

This also applies to some restaurants in Hamilton. It's pretty easy to look up restaurants in Hamilton Bermuda on the Trip Advisor site, Fodor's Travel site, and Bermuda tourist sites. I was surprised to see several restaurants that we have frequented during the week are actually closed on Sundays.

Thanks for the information. I think we will go to the beach Sunday, book her excursion for Monday.

Sunday bus and ferry schedules are different than the rest of the week also. Make sure you look into that to get back to the ship.
