Taxis

We will be in Curacao, Aruba and La Romania. What are your thoughts on taking a private taxi to places? We always plan big excursions but seem very time constrained. We really are looking to go to the fantastic beaches as well as see the towns so we can sample the local foods and drinks. What are your thoughts.

Taxis are a good option

We would like to go to Shete Boka the morning that we arrive and were thinking about a taxi. Do you negotiate a rate before you go, or is there a set rate? How much on average to get to Shete Boka and maybe a couple other interesting places? I saw VIP Tours but that's $225 for 2 people which seems high to me.

You can easily negotiate with taxi drivers to do a tour.
