Ironing on board

We are on the River Royale on Uniworld in July. Starting to think of what to pack. Some stuff I want to bring, I would normally iron once we got to a hotel, but will I have that option on a river cruise? Doesn't sound like there is room in the cabin, and sounds like laundry service is only wash, dry and fold-no ironing??

We will be on Avalon in August, nothing I've read mentions anything about an iron in the cabins, but there seems to be a laundry service on each cruise..I'm taking everything that doesnt need ironing, so should have only to worry about rinsing things out of a night

When we were on the Royale, there was no self-serve laundry or ironing board. Cruises on the Royale are only 7 nites on the water--guess they figured it wasn't needed. Have also been on the Countess(sister ship to the Duchese)---was a three week trip so the laundry area was very welcome at no cost. Try hanging the garment on the bathroom door and use the shower ad a steamer. Pat
