Transportation to Ka'anapli Beach

What is the best way to get to Ka'anapli Beach from where you will be tendered at Lahania in Maui?

Taxi will be the quickest & cost will be about $15 each way. Bus will be the least expensive (other than walking) and the cost is $2./person/each way.

I think a taxi will be closer to $20 each way +tip ( I checked a taxi website)

We always take the bus -- not as fast, but way cheaper

We have missed the bus each time going to the beach by minutes. There always seem to be others there waiting for the bus .... so we have asked other couples to share a cab, which has turned out to be about $1 more than waiting for the bus. Catching the bus back seems easier.

Does anyone know what time the buses leave to go to the beach? I think it is on the hour????

Cam: The bus schedule is #25 in this link - it's on the half hour from Wharf Cinema Centre in Lahaina, and on the hour coming back from Kaanapali (Whaler's Village).

This taxi site indicates that it's $12.00 between Lahaina and Kaanapali.
