Purvis1231 Posted November 26, 2016 #1 Share Posted November 26, 2016 A few days ago we visited the Reef Club on Carnival’s All Inclusive Beach Get Away. Overall we had a good time relaxing in a beautiful and peaceful resort, away from the crowds. There was only about a 100 guest in 3 buses that came to the resort and only a few non staff locals were at the resort. Due to weather conditions the beach was a disappointment. The sand was covered with shells, seaweed, and other natural debris. The beach club nor did Carnival have any control over this. The resort pool was beautiful and clean although due to the weather it was a little cool but again most of the guest enjoyed the pool. The guides and resort staff were wonderful. On the bus trip to the resort, the guide provided a lot of useful information about the area and the resort. At the resort, the guides organized activities and games that the guest enjoyed. Also at the resort there was always a waiter nearby to deliver drinks. The drinks were not watered down and several of the guests really took advantage of the drinks. Unfortunately, the food did not match the quality of rest of the resort. But since we had been eating a lot on the cruise ship we managed to overlook this. The best part of the excursion for us was sitting under a shade tree and in the sun (for a while) and having the cool gulf breeze carry away the stress of life. maldenmusic Posted November 26, 2016 #2 Share Posted November 26, 2016 We visited the Reef Club a few years ago with another tour provider and enjoyed it well enough. The beach was pretty the day we were there.
