cruisingfreaks Posted November 27, 2016 #1 Share Posted November 27, 2016 We are booked on NCL Sky that leaves in 36 days. One of our ports is Grand Bahama Island is this Freeport? NCL does not have any excursions up for this port which I find very odd seeing we sail in about a month. I have called twice and were told they were being "loaded" I also can not get an answer if this is Freeport or not? I want to book on my own(as I usually do) but I am worried since NCL won't give me any answers on this port. Also what will the weather be like in Jan in the Bahamas? FL Cruise Guy Posted November 27, 2016 #2 Share Posted November 27, 2016 Yes, Grand Bahama Island is where Freeport is located. As far as weather, you will likely have cool mornings and evenings with highs in the low to mid 70s. MisKaren1 Posted November 27, 2016 #3 Share Posted November 27, 2016 (edited) It could be because most of Freeport is still recovering from Hurricane Matthew. We were there and did Pat & Diane's snorkel tour. Most of Port Lucaya was closed. We still had a great time!
