Is it safe to go to Blue Hole or Dunn's river falls while pregnant?

Climbing Dunn, I would say no. Chance are nothing would happen, but plenty of people slip. You typically do not want to engage in activities that have a higher chance of broken bones--such as skiing, etc. I would say no to climbing Dunn, but you could just stay on the stairs up and down-that would be fine, IMHO.

Thanks for your reply! I wouldn't do anything risky! I was hoping if someone pregnant who has been to Blue Hole could answer how their experience was! It looks like I will be on the observation deck while the rest of my family enjoys the attractions! :o

Why don't you discuss this with your Doctor, I bet he is more qualified to answer your concerns.:)

You may want to try contacting them ahead of time and ask what their policy is, etc. I am 5 months pregnant and just back from Jamaica. We did the Dreamer Catamaran Sail & Snorkel and I contacted them ahead of time because I saw posts about having to wade through the water to get on the boat. They explained the process (water was only a foot deep) and said there would be crew members to assist. They also told me that you have to sign a waiver when you board the bus and one of the things is confirming that you're not pregnant. I was told since I wasn't planning on snorkeling though, it was fine. I would find out as much info from the company as possible and then chat with your doctor if you have concerns.
