FaceTime on Marina

Does anyone know if technology has moved forward enough to allow FaceTime on The Marina. Internet service seems to improve over time, but the last time we cruised a year ago, FaceTime did not work.

We face timed on a river cruise last summer, Viking had excellent t technology.

I wouldn't count on it working on an ocean cruise. Take your device on shore and find a wifi.

We've used Face Time onboard with varying degrees of success, depending on how strong the signal is.

Sometimes it works fine and other times it will occasionally break up.

Last summer my wife did FaceTime while we were on the Marina. She was able to connect while we were docked and also late at night (thinking when others were not online). Now, when I got home and received the AT&T invoice, I wanted to die...lol
