Stores open on Sunday?

We will be in Key West on a Sunday. We were wondering if many of the stores on Duval Street will be open and what time they open. It looks as though the Vision of the Seas is the only ship in port that day.

It will be business as usual with most opening by 900 and the rest around 1000.

However I did call the Pelican Poop store (one of my favorites) and they said they aren't open on Sunday. That's what enticed me to post the question.

Not surprising as that place has really gone downhill recently. The owner is in poor health and consequently the inventory has suffered greatly.

Can you suggest other souvenir shops that have unique islandy selections? We don't want fine china, original art work, just fun things to put on our patio.

Try Montage right on Duval Street ---> http://montagekeywest.com/

They sell wooden plaques or varying sizes with the names of streets, bars, restaurants, and pretty much anything else in Key West that is named.

While a nice shop with unique signs they are not suitable for outdoor use.
