Caribe87 Posted April 24, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 24, 2014 We are booked on the Ruby Princess this November, specifically E403 after sailing the last two times in a Balcony on Caribe deck (trying to save a bit of money this time). This is a partially obstructed view. Two questions. Are the beds against the wall as opposed to being under the window, and if so, as you enter, is it on the right or left wall? Anyone with specific experience with this stateroom or similiar, your input would be greatly appreciated.
Bonnie J. Posted April 24, 2014 #2 Share Posted April 24, 2014 You can ask your room steward to move the beds any way you'd like. Single people usually want two separate beds, married want them together. Sometimes they're on the wall, sometimes under the window but not touching that wall. On our last cruise two weeks ago my husband wanted to be able to walk right up to the window but we didn't want the beds separated and it wasn't feasible to move then against a wall with enough space to walk on the window side. So, we had to climb on the bed to see out.
Rare Essiesmom Posted April 24, 2014 #3 Share Posted April 24, 2014 Welcome to Cruise Critic. Your beds will be on the sides, as your cabin only accommodates two. If you had a quad cabin, the bunks would be on the walls and the twin beds beneath the window. If you go to the Princess board here at CC, there is a thread about the views from obstructed view cabins. EM
