Hubby and I along with two other couples are interested in the Sierra Madre/Taste Of Mexico tour on our Carnival cruise next month.

I walk with a cane and am concerned that the activity level is moderate. Anyone taken this excursion and can offer any feedback about it? Thanks.

If this is the Concordia/Copalla (sp?) tour, there is a lot of time on the bus and the scenery is lovely. The towns, though, could be difficult for you as in Concordia (IIRC) the bus parks at the top of a hill with cobbled streets and you need to walk down and then back up the hill. The other town is flat but still cobbled. Has been ages since we did this tour so I may have the town names reversed ;)

The (very nice) tour to Concordia leaves from Mazatlan, not Puerto Vallarta.

The posting was re a Sierra Madre tour in Puerto Vallarta.
