Embassy Suites Newark Airport shuttle

I know people were asking about this a month or so ago, so just thought I'd share what I've found out. After about 5 days e mailing back and forth with head office, they finally admitted I'd be best 'talking' to someone at the hotel:rolleyes:. So, after a couple of e mails to the manager...

1) There is a Stay, Park & Cruise package available which includes parking for the duration (I think @ $10/day, but needs confirming) and return shuttle for 2 people. Additional people @ $20 each way.

2) If you are not using the package for some reason, parking is still available at $10/ day. The shuttle is also available to all guests at $20/person each way. You can sign up for the shuttle on arrival at the hotel...no need to pre book.

Is there anything to do near the hotel the evening before the cruise?

How about a place to eat?

Not much, but it's only a 5 minute walk to the New Jersey Mall, so you can kill time there and get something to eat in the food court.

We stayed at the Embassy pre cruise for Anthem. As others have said, the mall is very close ... but for restaurants close to the hotel there is Ruby Tuesdays, and IHOP ... we ate at Ruby Tuesdays for our dinner the night before heading to the ship
