SPacificbound Posted September 2, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 2, 2016 Please if someone is really familiar with Southampton and can recommend a store where I can buy a 3 or 4" mattress topper. We will be on the TA out of Southampton in November on Navigator, and will need to buy the topper the day before boarding. We spent 51 night on Navigator earlier this year and if not for the 4" gel topper we bought at Walmart neither one of us would have gotten much sleep. I understand Walmart owns ASDA stores but I can't seem to find their actual locations or if there are superstores that would carry this type of item. Thank you so much, I appreciate any assistance. :)

They're all quite large stores but I can't be sure they'll have everything in stock, you might want to e-mail or "click and collect" closer to the day. There'll be other stores with toppers, so if you can't find what you want in one, ask the assistant cos they'll know better than me. There's an ASDA store (part of Walmart) near the National Express coach station, but it majors on food & clothing & I seriously doubt you'll find toppers there. John Bull Posted September 2, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 2, 2016 (edited) I forgot Argos, between IKEA and John Lewis. Different set-up to other stores, huge, huge range of products but for most items you have to order (and pay) about 24 hours in advance via click&collect. I doubt they keep toppers in stock, though it's worth e-mailing. http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Browse/ID72/37924727/c_1/1%7Ccategory_root%7CHome+and+garden%7C33005908/c_2/2%7C33005908%7CBedding%7C37924427/c_3/3%7Ccat_37924427%7CMattress+toppers%7C37924727.htm?cmpid=GG05X&_$ja=tsid:30645|cid:171992629|agid:9081498709|tid:aud-180466976245:kwd-27254414394|crid:49556752549|nw:g|rnd:15314129093775199761|dvc:c|adp:1t2&gclid=CLP9nYO88M4CFYwW0wod0d4D8Q JB :) Edited September 2, 2016 by John Bull
Bob++ Posted September 2, 2016 #4 Share Posted September 2, 2016 I strongly suggest that you check out the links JB has provided. I looked at a few and it's clear that the range available is very wide, with the best memory foam ones heading towards the £200 mark.
