RC Freedom of the Seas Balcony Deck 12

Hi,

I'm traveling on Royal Carribeans Freedom of the Seas on June 2017 departing from Barcelona. I'm having a difficult time deciding which balcony deck to book. I've noticed that Freedom now has new cabins on deck 12- near the spa section. The rooms look updated and beautiful. However, I've concerns about the noise and perhaps smoking- close to the pool deck. If anyone has input about this deck I would greatly appreciate it. It's either deck 12 or 6,7,8.

I wouldn't worry about smoke...it blows away quickly!

We like to be within a deck or two of the pool, so we can easily use the stairs, instead of waiting on elevators during the day...makes coming and going to the cabin a snap!
