Will be visiting Naples area and last time we were there (many years ago), I sort of remember a cameo store outside of the entrance to Pompeii, is it still there? Or I may not have the right location at all . . . thanks.

It is enroute to Pompeii. The bus stopped at a free-standing building which houses the Cameo workshop and store. Afterwards we continued on to Pompeii.

That store mentioned by Tomko2 has a reputation as a bit of a tourist rip-off, so I hope that's not the one you are thinking of!

Cameos are an ancient art that has long been practiced in the area around Naples. If you are interested in purchasing one, I'd look for a reputable store in Naples itself -- there are a number of them.
