Miami Marathon

Sailing on January 24 out of Miami-----the day of this years marathon. Staying at The Holiday Inn opposite Bayside and was wondering about the impact the race will have on traffic in the area.

Last time we stayed there journey time to the Port was minimal, any idea of time to get a taxi etc late morning?

It starts really early, like 6am so the runners will be through there for the most part by the time you head to the port. The cab drivers will know the street closures and will know how to get you to the port.

How about getting to the airport. Getting off the ship around 8.

You will not have any problems. There will be delays but you'll be fine as long as your flight is after 10:30 or so.
