stcruise Posted April 26, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 26, 2014 As we departed Barcelona last Sunday, we spotted the following: I know that these photos are probably very sad for Seabourn Pride lovers, but it is the beginning of a new experience for those of us who cruise Windstar. editor@cruisecritic Posted May 3, 2014 #3 Share Posted May 3, 2014 This is so cool, stcruise, thanks for posting! I'm on my way to Barcelona as we speak to check out Windstar's Star Pride. I like that the company kept some of its original name :) I'll be writing stories and sharing photos starting Monday. melmike Posted August 14, 2014 #6 Share Posted August 14, 2014 We will be aboard the newly Christened Star Pride on Sunday for Sicilian Splendors. Can't wait! Hi there - we are in the process of deciding between Crystal Symphony and Windstar Star Pride for a 10 night Asia cruise in January. The Star Pride has a more focused Vietnam itinerary which really appeals to us….However…we are concerned about the less than glowing reviews about the state of the ship, even after its 18 days being rebadged in Barcelona. I would love to hear your opinions, since you have so much experience. We are looking at Owners Suite or Classic suite. We have done Regent and last year Seabourn, which was excellent. I'm interested in trying Crystal but the itinerary just isn't so exciting to us (coming from Australia and having visited one or two of the stops in the past) Any advice or opinions much appreciated thanks, Melanie
