Janet524 Posted June 15, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 15, 2015 Maybe a dumb question, but are there any restrictions on bringing wine into Canada? We are sailing out of Quebec City in October and want to bring some wine to enjoy at our hotel pre-cruise and also to take on board. Any information will be appreciated. Fouremco Posted June 15, 2015 #2 Share Posted June 15, 2015 Check here: http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/travel-voyage/ivc-rnc-eng.html There are many good wines available in Quebec that you might not have access to at home, so you might want to consider purchasing your wine there for variety. Putterdude Posted June 15, 2015 #3 Share Posted June 15, 2015 Each adult may bring in 1.50 ml of wine which equates to two .750 ml bottles. This is tax and duty free however more wine can be brought into Canada if you are willing to pay the tax and duty on it....generally it's better to purchase any excess wine in Canada.
