Cabin near elevators ....tell me this is a good thing?

Hello my 2nd cruise on Carnival had limited choices to pick from as the cruise seems pretty booked . Hopefully, didnt make a mistake choosing a oceanview cabin close to elevators concerned about noise wise.

I always prefer to be near the elevators ... just a personal choice. I have never had any problems with noise .... have a great time :)

is your cruise within the next few weeks??

I used to love aft cabins then they went higher in price- So now I book cabins on the empress deck right outside the elevators.

Elevators are in banks so you have to leave the cabin and go to their bank to get in on- You should not hear the ding- (heck I really need to be listening for it when I am standing right there)

Now the question is-- what deck and what elevator=-

I think being near the stairs and elevators is a HUGE BONUS....very convenient. It's no noisier than anywhere else...you won't hear "dinging" from the elevators!
