Bus transfer from Anchorage airport to Whittier *Princess*

I asked this on the Princess board but never got a direct answer. We have a pre-paid transfer to go by bus from Anchorage to Whittier. We will be on a DIY tour prior to Embark day. We will be turning in a rental car at the airport. I know Princess has a desk in the baggage claim area. For those that have caught the bus at the airport.....

1) What times do the airport buses run to Whittier?

2) Does the airport bus/shuttle drop you off at the Egan Center to catch the transfer there?

Thanks for your help and would love to hear from someone who has been picked up at the airport!

FYI...I actually called Princess and they could not give me an answer about the airport either!

Can't answer your question, but if you need other options besides the cruiseline transfer:

Park Connection Bus Leaves Anc Museum at 3pm, arrives whittier at 5pm)

Alaska Railroad ( leaves Anc 9:45, arrives noon)

Alaska Cruise Transfer ACT has a few options

There is a desk at the airport in Anchorage and people wandering around with Princess signs. It's been a few years since I embarked in Anchorage, but I'm pretty sure the airport buses go direct to the ship and not via the Egan Center, which is about 30-40 minutes in the opposite direction. The buses are coming up from Whittier to drop off passengers for flights. The buses that go to/from the Egan Center are dropping off people who are staying over or have red eye flights later in the day.

Thank you! I read where someone said the airport bus would take you to the Egan center. For me, going from our downtown hotel to the airport & then having to ride a bus/shuttle back downtown to go to the port seems redundant!

Just back from a fabulous trip! I will answer my own question for those that want to know! The buses leave the airport starting at 12pm. It's first come first serve. At baggage claim area #1 there is a Princess representative there that will take your luggage starting at 8am. You are given a color card and that determines what bus you are on. We got to the airport to turn in our rental car around 10:30 and we were able to get on the first bus. By 11:30 or so they already had at least 6 buses scheduled. Not sure how quickly they filled them but think they were running about every half hour. The representative told me that sometimes the first buses are filled by 8am.
