Walk from Erato Pier to French Quarter

I am ok with the distance and our luggage won't cause a problem, but I'm wondering if it is even possible. Does anyone know? Its really hard to tell on Google Maps if you can walk from where the ship docks to Convention Center Drive.

It is walkable, and not a bad walk at all if you are not hauling luggage.

When you leave the Erato Street terminal, you will see a set of stairs. At the top you will find a covered walkway that leads to the Riverwalk. Go all the way through the Riverwalk to the end. Take a left and you will be at the foot of Canal Street. The FQ will be on your right.
