beachbum53 Posted January 14, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 14, 2014 Prior to the introduction of FTTF, occasionally someone would post that they had found a Zone One boarding pass hidden under one of the seats in the waiting area at the port. I haven't seen any postings about that since Carnival introduced the FTTF option. So I was wondering, does Carnival still hide any boarding passes in their waiting areas, and has anyone recently found one, or is that no longer done since FTTF was introduced? Isa65 Posted January 14, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 14, 2014 I haven't heard of that happening since FTTF. Which sort of makes sense - what would they give away a freebie if they can earn money on this feature?
okgirl Posted January 14, 2014 #3 Share Posted January 14, 2014 I haven't heard them doing this in a long time, but I don't think one thing has anything to do with the other. The card was usually placed in a section of the general boarding area where the guests would typically have a much higher zone number. There are still well over 100 guests who have arrived for checkin early enough to get a zone one card on their own. FTTF is seated in their own section and I don't think they even get a zone number. I don't get one for being Diamond.
