Earthquake in Chile

The Fred. Olsen "Black Watch" is currently cruising the Chilean coast on its "Round South America" voyage. Hopefully it has not been affected by the massive earthquke and possible tsunami which hit the central region of that country today. Has anyone heard from passengers on board the ship?

I received a email from the Black watch today Monday saying the earthquake was behind them plus they where in deep water so it was not a problem.they have just departed Arica and arive Lima for a two day stop over tuesday and wednesday. im not sure of time differance with these dates but all is well .

Good to pick up the news on the FOCL website that the ship was at sea during the earthquake. Glad to learn that all is well on board and the ship remains on schedule.
