susiesan Posted January 28, 2005 #1 Share Posted January 28, 2005 Our CC group of Cruz Dawgs got a private bridge tour yesterday and I can report that the Dawn's engines are running at full speed. We were doing 21 knots-I saw it on the gauges. We hit all ports scheduled for the whole time-nothing was amiss. So stop worrying. The ship is back in topnotch condition. dawg Susie

geri Posted January 29, 2005 #8 Share Posted January 29, 2005 I arranged a bridge tour for members of my family last year by composing a letter of request to the captain. Once we got on board the ship I gave the letter to the Purser and asked that he give it to the captain. The next day I received in my cabin a letter from the Captain's office asking that I and my family come to a certain part of the ship on a certain day & time and we would be escorted to the bridge. When we arrived that day there were about 10 other people besides ourselves for the tour. One of the crew from the bridge escorted us to the front of the ship and provided the tour.
